Tastings/Beverage Tasting Institute Highly Recommended
"Deep, saturated ruby-garnet hue.   Generous mineral and black-fruit aromas.  A lush entry leads to a silky, medium-bodied palate."

Wine Enthusiast   88 points
"Tobacco and some green pepper on an otherwise fruity plain.  When you think of cru bourgeois Bordeaux this has the image and flavor profile."

Wine Specator
"Dense style, with herb, bell pepper and dill-laced flavors dominating the ripe plum and berry notes."

The aroma is dominated with ripe, rich plum underlain with black cherry, earthy components and green olive notes.  The wine is balanced with warmth from the new French oak barrels.  In the mouth, the 1997 Arbios Cabernet is silky, soft and supple presenting itself as a generous wine, inviting and approachable.
