Our Wines / 1996 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Sherry-Lehmann, New York "A relative newcomer to the California wine scene and destined for greatness. This full bodied and lusty 1996 displays great harmony, earthy flavors and deep concentration. Tastings/Beverage Tasting Institute Highly Recommended "Brilliant blackish-ruby hue. A rich entry leads to a big, medium bodied palate." Wine Specator October 1999 "A muscular wine, packed with smoky oak and bacon flavors. The fruit comes through on the finish with hints of coffee, black currant, licorice and herbs. Tanins are still tough, but firm and ripe."
